Kristian Vedel Child's Chair

There is something about the fifties and sixties that is kinda....contemporary.  You know that retro stuff?  I love the fashion, and I love the furniture.  


So I was pleasantly surprised to come across Retro Sixty which is a UK store that carries "original 20th century design furniture, accessories and fine art from the 1940s to late 1980s".


I particularly like this child chair:

It was originally designed in Denmark in 1957 by Kristan Vedel.  Nothing like a bit of retro to contemporise a kids room with.
